RD SERVICES

RD Service is DesireTech registered device service compliant to Aadhaar Registered Devices Specification used to ensure secured biometric capture, and authentication of biometrics using UIDAI’s Aadhaar based services.

We provide Registered Device Service for all of our products having biometrics enabled.

Our RD Service supports Fingerprint Biometrics.

The Registered Device Service keeps the security at the frontline and makes sure that the biometrics are captured in a secured way and passed on as required without manipulating or storing any data at the device level.

Our RD service application helps in e-KYC transactions / Aadhaar authentications and Aadhaar based transactions specified under Aadhaar enabled Payment systems (AePS). The RD service interfaces between DesireTech Biometrics Level-0 Registered Device fingerprint readers and customer applications.

These application helps in many ways by providing uniqueness to the devices and eliminating any data breach, which in turn assigns a unique identity to each registered device and helps in traceability of the device and allows backend analytics in a secured way for the device.

Further, each biometric data is captured on the device using the provided secure keys exchanged at the time of registering the device. The RD Service then forms an encrypted PID block before returning to the host application to eliminate any data breach possibilities.
